Within the internal development team, you will work together with other developers, under the responsibility of the CTO. On a day-to-day basis, you will be directly managed by the lead developer. As a member of the Frontend team, you share responsibility for the development of the webshop, with an emphasis on great customer experience.

The role

In order to greatly improve the webshop, both functionally and technically, we are pursuing state-of-the-art maintainable technological solutions, that can handle our increasingly high traffic. We are looking for an experienced developer, whom can leverage his proven track record in a team that uses PHP 7 (Symfony, Doctrine) and various frontend technologies, including reactJS and Bootstrap. Further, you have experience with high performance environments and Responsive design. You are eager to have ownership over the environment.

Your profile

You work meticulously, preferably with a test-driven approach, and always look for the most viable solution. You prefer to work according to an Agile methodology (Scrum) and you are independent, take initiative and communicate proactively. Besides that you have at least a college / university degree in computer science and you have at least 3 years experience in a similar position. You are proficient in the English language. Proficiency in Dutch is an advantage but not essential.

Note: This vacancy is for a position in Amsterdam. We're open to international applicants but we'll have to talk to you face to face, at least once in our Amsterdam office, before offering you a job.
